The Château de La Vigne was built as a small fortress at the end of the 15th century. Since 30 September 1991, it has been fully protected as a historic monument; this includes the chapel, the grand salon, the dining room, the courtroom, the so-called Jean-Jacques Rousseau Room and the Troubadour Room.
At the Château de La Vigne, visitors can tour the château and its exhibitions, including the rare studiolo. The Salon de l’Auto Miniature contains 4,500 miniature models and toys. La Ronde des Poupées du Monde displays 1,500 folk dolls.

Culture
The Eglise Saint-Férréol is also part of the protected cultural heritage: since 24 September 1987, it has been partially protected as a historic monument. The protection covers the choir termination, the apse and the right choir bay.
Landscape
The garden of the Château de La Vigne has a 350-metre-long, straight avenue planted with lime trees. A French avenue in the Jardin du château de La Vigne is bordered by two small pools and lined with cone-shaped boxwood; it invites visitors to admire the view. The viewpoint and the orientation table at the Château de La Vigne offer a panorama of the Monts du Cantal.
Things to do
Le Pédalorail du Grand Pays de Salers offers rides on rail bikes along a former railway line. There are four circular routes to choose from: 3 km in 35 minutes with two tunnels and a non-electric rail bike, 8 km in 1.5 hours with two viaducts and a non-electric rail bike, and 14 km in 2 hours with an electric rail bike. The Pont du Rouffet day circuit covers 30 km, nine viaducts and nine tunnels and is ridden on an electric rail bike.
PR Le Puy Soutro is a 12 km heritage-themed hike that takes you through Ally and the surrounding countryside. For this hike, you can park in the church square.
