Jussac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Base VTT du Moulin in Jussac is FFCT-certified and offers four permanently signposted mountain bike circuits. By reservation, the base rents out around twenty mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes year-round for adults and young people aged 16 and over. Around 100 kilometres of signposted and secured routes run via connections between Jussac, Aurillac, Saint-Cernin and Saint-Illide.

Activities

The Ferme Équestre de l’Authre is located on the Promenade des Sports in Jussac. Visitors can try horse riding there; during the school holidays, it also offers courses for riding certificates, dressage and show jumping, as well as demonstrations.

The La Jussacoise event includes mountain bike routes ranging from 22 to 55 kilometres, with between 392 and 1,216 metres of elevation gain. There are also 10- and 20-kilometre trail routes with 314 and 597 metres of elevation gain respectively, without timekeeping, as well as cycling routes of 47 kilometres with 747 metres, 78 kilometres with 1,315 metres and 97 kilometres with 1,820 metres of elevation gain. The programme also includes hikes of 10 and 20 kilometres, as well as an 8-kilometre health walk with 60 metres of elevation gain.

Culture

The Chapelle d'Hauterive is one of Jussac’s local reminders of a rich past. Jussac has numerous manor houses, some of which can claim château status. A reliquary in Jussac’s Saint-Martin church has been protected as a historic object since 20 July 1983.

The Médiathèque Jean-Claude Maurel in Jussac is open to everyone, including people who live outside the CABA.

Local Life

The Gourmand market in Jussac takes place on Thursdays in July and August at the Promenade des Sports; it is organised by the local festival committee. Jussac’s agricultural festival has been revived and continues to grow year after year.
