Circular route No. 56 Granges de Cette begins in Cette-Eygun. To reach it, drive from Oloron on the N134 towards Spain (Huesca, Zaragoza), and at the entrance to Cette-Eygun, turn left under the bridge towards Cette. Possible parking areas mentioned are the area in front of the fronton or the square in front of Château d’Arrance.
Circular route No. 57 Panorama de Narbissat crosses the Ruisseau de Lacure and then reaches a small open plateau. It runs through a section of hillside sheltered by oak and beech trees to a clearing and a viewpoint described as exceptional, overlooking the Lescun valley basin and the surrounding peaks. Circular route No. 56 Granges de Cette offers mountain panoramas on the descent to Cette; along the way, it crosses a stream and then a beech forest. Plants bloom along the route until October.
Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre was built in the 12th century and later remodelled. It features Romanesque architecture and an 18th-century altarpiece.
La seigneurie de Gunh is located in Eygun in the Aspe Valley, in a restored medieval building, and has been opened to the public. A guided and documented tour is offered of the listed building. The complex includes a theatre for social gatherings with six seats. La seigneurie de Gunh also displays a collection of 70 antique fashion fans dating from the late 19th century to the beginning of the Second World War, as well as around 30 evening and ball gowns dating from the beginning of the 20th century to the 1930s. The dresses are decorated with artistic embroidery in the “au Lunéville” style, using beads, sequins and rhinestones.
