Régnié-Durette: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Voie verte du Beaujolais crosses Régnié-Durette along an 11 km-long former railway line between Saint-Jean-d’Ardières and Beaujeu.

The 9.5 km-long Circuit le village is a variant of the circular route “Autour des deux clochers” and leads to vineyard slopes, impressive buildings and beautiful viewpoints.

Three cycling loops start from the Voie verte du Beaujolais, allowing visitors to explore the valley on lightly trafficked roads. Fishing is possible at the Étang de la Carelle.

The Tour Bourdon is a geosite featuring a cairn approximately five metres high, made of sandstone blocks uncovered when a vineyard was planted in 2015.

Culture and History

The church with its two bell towers in Régnié-Durette was built between 1867 and 1895 according to plans by the architect Pierre Bossan. Two identical grilles in the Saint-Jean-Apôtre church in Régnié-Durette have been listed as protected movable cultural heritage objects since 30 June 1988. To access the church, visitors should ask for the key at the Multiservices shop or in the Caveau.

The Domaine de la Grange Charton is classified as a historic monument. In its courtyard, visitors can discover traditional winemakers’ homes.

Wine and Cellars

The Domaine de la Ronze offers tastings of Crus du Beaujolais; cellar tours are also available there.

The Domaine Striffling offers a guided tour of its vineyards, including a presentation of vineyard work. The visit ends with a tasting of six of its main wines, including Chardonnay, Régnié and Morgon.
