History
The bronze trophies associated with the Sidi Brahim Monument were transferred to Périssac on 27 September 1963; the resulting work was inaugurated on 10 July 1966.
The Sidi Brahim Monument is located in Périssac. Périssac is the birthplace of Captain Oscar de Géreaux, who died heroically on 24 September 1845 during the Battle of Sidi-Brahim in Algeria.
