Landscape
Fours borders the Gironde to the west. Vineyards cover more than half of the municipality’s area; wine is produced in Fours under the Premières côtes de Blaye appellation. Fours is also part of the 6,859-hectare Natura 2000 site "Gironde Estuary: marais du Blayais".

Culture
The Église Saint Louis in Fours is a small Romanesque church with a flat-ended chancel. It features reused Romanesque decorative elements, including a round arch as well as carved billet and chevron motifs. A monolithic stone cemetery cross stands near the Église Saint Louis.
Local tradition also includes the Sainte-Blaise spring, which was reputed to cure throat ailments.
Trails
The Frankton Memorial Trail leads to Fours via the chemin de la Cure and from Fours through vineyards to the greenway. It runs for 120 km between Saint-Genès-de-Blaye and Ruffec and commemorates four British soldiers.
From Fours, you can reach the greenway, which follows a former railway line between Blaye and Etauliers. The Blaye–Etauliers cycle path is 14 km long and classified as easy. It follows a former railway line and forms a greenway through the vineyards of Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux.
