Culture and History
The Église Saint-Étienne is a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. It features frescoes by Laure Aynard and stained-glass windows by Marguerite Huré. The church also contains four wooden statues of the Evangelists dating from the 18th century, which were registered as protected objects on 22 October 2010.
The Abbaye de Peyrouse was built in the 12th century and existed for six centuries. Le Boviduc is a small tunnel beneath the former Tacot railway line through which cattle could move from one pasture to another.
Festivals
The Fête du cèpe et du veau sous la mère takes place in Saint-Saud-Lacoussière every year at the beginning of October.
