In 2024, the Voie verte in Saint-Martin-le-Pin was operational and suitable for quiet walks. The Boucle de Saint Martin begins at the Panneau d'Appel in the hollow below the church, on a reception area by the stream.
Culture
The façades and roofs of the Église Saint-Martin have been listed as historic monuments since 4 December 1942. Its southern portal has three archivolts decorated with a frieze of figures and animals. The sacristy houses the 18th-century pair of objects “Calice et patène”, which was listed as protected movable cultural heritage in 1975.
In the wider regional surroundings of Saint-Martin-le-Pin lies the Abbaye de Fontaine Vive, a historic site. The Abbaye de Boschaud is a ruin there, while the Abbaye de la Peyrouse is considered a historic site.
Paths and Activities
La Flow Vélo passes through Saint-Martin-le-Pin along the Nontron–Marthon section. The section passing through the village is signposted and popular with families.
