La Flow Vélo passes through Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière and is fully signposted from Thiviers to the Atlantic coast. Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière has three picnic areas: at the village’s main washhouse, beneath the viaduct on the Route de Saint-Front-la-Rivière, and at the municipal campsite on the Route de Miallet.

The ruins of the Abbaye de Boschaud are located in the area around Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière. The Abbaye de la Peyrouse, a historic site, is also nearby. Further afield in the region are the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Ligueux and the Abbaye de Fontaine Vive, both historic sites.

Getting around

The greenway between Thiviers and Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière is 17 kilometres long. This route can be explored on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback.

The Boucle de Bordessoule starts in the village of Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière, passes the washhouse, crosses the Dronne and then reaches a section of the La Flow Vélo greenway. The Boucle de Puypelat is a 6.2-kilometre circular route starting in Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière.
