The Boucle de Saint-Pancrace starts at the Place de la Mairie in Saint-Pancrace. The route is marked in yellow, and a GPX track is available to download. The circular route passes through the town centre and by the church, then continues between hamlets, meadows and woodland typical of the Périgord Vert.

The Boucle de Saint-Pancrace is 13 kilometres long, with a stated walking time of four hours.

Culture

The Église Saint-Pancrace is a stone building with Romanesque origins and was rebuilt on older foundations in the 19th century. The chancel contains a vaulted apse with a half-dome vault, a painted altarpiece, polychrome sculptures and a stained-glass window.

Saint-Pancrace also has a restored washhouse. The Pont Vieux is part of the local cultural heritage.

Events in Saint-Pancrace include a votive festival, a Christmas market and village events.

Cycling

The “Sur les traces de Brantôme” cycling loop passes through Saint-Pancrace. At kilometre 17.4, this cycling route climbs uphill through the village. The route is 31 kilometres long, takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, and is rated easy.

On the “De Brantôme à Saint Jean de Côle” cycling route, the terrain becomes noticeably gentler from Saint-Pancrace towards Saint-Pardoux.

Village Life

Saint-Pancrace hosts a weekly market. Ferme des Trois Chênes sells goat’s cheese directly from the farm on Fridays.
