Culture and History
The Château de Montanceix was once the seat of seigneurial authority for the parish of Montrem. In Montanceix, the church was built by the Bousquet family in 1878. The Église Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens is still used for some ceremonies, while the church in Montanceix is now used for regular services.
