Culture and history

The Temple in La Roche-Chalais was built between 1843 and 1845 and is now a cultural centre. Exhibitions of paintings and sculptures, conferences and classical music concerts are held there.

The current building of the Église de La Roche-Chalais was constructed between 1868 and 1871 according to plans by the architect Labbé. It was consecrated on 7 September 1872.
