The D 704 departmental road is Anlhiac’s main traffic artery and runs from north to south. The village centre is served by the D 77.
History
In Anlhiac, the Église Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens has a Romanesque choir. The Ancienne forge à haut fourneau d’Anlhiac was in operation from the 16th century onwards. The village parish is first documented in a 13th-century parish register under the name ULHAC. The Croix de Notre-Dame is a reminder of an earlier chapel.
The Ancienne forge à haut fourneau d’Anlhiac is located on the GR 646, a few hundred metres through the forest above the Moulin de Guimalet. The Moulin de Guimalet in Anlhiac is part of Circuit No. 3 “Périgord Vert”, a programme focusing on mills in the Dordogne département.
