Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Martial is the municipality’s most significant cultural site. It is Romanesque in style and dates from the 12th century. It was extensively restored in the 19th century; during this work, the building was raised and the bell tower rebuilt. The restoration in 2012 highlighted, among other features, an outer burial strip enclosing the part of the building remodelled in the 17th century, a door bearing the year 1666 and the coats of arms of the former lords of Saint-Martial, the Calvimont family.
The village also preserves traces of the former Château de Saint-Martial, including a coat of arms above the door of the former chapel and a date from 1666. The destruction of the Château de Saint-Martial is said to date to 6 or 7 December 1790.
Hiking and Trails
The Boucle Roc de la Selle is an easy 4.7 km circular hike starting from Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on foot. A longer route is the Boucle des Hameaux de Saint Martial, which is 14 km long and also starts from Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat. This route can be used on horseback, on foot and by mountain bike, and is designated as a historic and nature trail.

The wider surrounding region also includes Grotte des Combarelles and Grotte de Font-de-Gaume; both are caves.
