One route crosses two ridges and offers sweeping views of Kroměříž and the surrounding area, the Hostýnské vrchy and, above all, the Chřiby hills. Zdounky combines this connection to the landscape with remarkable buildings and a natural monument.

Culture

Zdounky Castle is registered as an immovable cultural monument under registration number 37881/7-6188. At its southwest corner, the four-winged building preserves the former tower of the original fortress, which projects outward there. The rooms throughout the entire ground floor have Baroque vaulted ceilings. The oldest southern section also retains an original chapel with a Renaissance vault.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Zdounky was originally Gothic and is first mentioned in 1366. The church tower was extended in 1570. The church stands on a steep slope near the village centre, in an enclosed precinct. It contains a figurative and heraldic Renaissance stone tombstone for Jan Jiří Zoubek of Zdětín; the work is considered a Moravian unique piece.

Nature

The Kamenec natural monument features warm slopes with juniper growth and thermophilous flora. Numerous thermophilous insect species live in Kamenec and its surroundings. The occurrence of the protected praying mantis is particularly noteworthy.

The included services and the individual price components are equally important. Also read the booking and cancellation conditions carefully so that it is clear which rules apply to the respective offer. When comparing several holiday apartments, it is worth making an objective comparison of these fields rather than inferring features from the place name. On the listing pages for Zdounky, you can also check which type of accommodation is specified, how many people the offer is intended for and which services are expressly included. Also pay attention to the exact location, the stated costs and any additional charges. If information about facilities, occupancy or conditions is missing, this should be clarified before making a binding booking. The selection thus remains based on the information provided on the respective listing page. For comparison purposes, the names of the individual price items and the period during which the conditions apply may also be relevant. Check whether the stated occupancy matches your own travel plans and whether specific deadlines are given for changes or cancellation. Information about minimum stays, payment dates and any possible deposits is also among the fields that may vary depending on the offer. If such points are missing, the scope of the published information is not fully apparent. In each case, what matters is what is expressly stated on the specific listing page for the respective period and rate.
