Zádveřice-Raková lies within the Vizovice Highlands Nature Park, whose broader regional context is characterized by continuous forested uplands. From here, a local landscape unfolds in which paths, views, rural architecture and local memory each create their own distinctive accents.
Nature
At the U křížku viewpoint near Raková, the rest area and the view go hand in hand: the site offers views of the settlement, the surrounding area and the opposing main ridge of the Vizovice Highlands. Below the lower edge of Raková there is also an old orchard, which is considered an interesting local sight.
The “Chodníček za sirnými studánkami” is an approximately 2 km circular route marked as an educational trail, with two starting points and two stations. It leads to five mineral springs along the Horský potok. The first starting point is the Zádveřice, paseky bus stop. From there, the trail leads to the U Staré Hájenky spring and then on to Sirkovica, approximately 1 km away.
Culture and local character
The Evangelical church in Zádveřice was built in its present form between 1860 and 1869 after the previous stone church was destroyed by fire. Its tower houses three bells that are still in use; their eventful history is depicted on panels in the entrance area. Two bells confiscated in 1917 were saved in a unique way and are still used today as memorial bells.
The community center, or vicarage, of the Evangelical congregation in Zádveřice houses a permanent exhibition about emigration from Zádveřice and the surrounding area to America in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition can be visited by prior arrangement with the municipal or parish office.
Smaller reminders of rural architecture and local history also form part of the area’s character. Farmstead No. 124 in Zádveřice-Raková is a registered immovable cultural monument and is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under registration number 23021/7-2155. Raková is known for its numerous preserved old wooden barns, which form part of its local rural character.

The approximately 30 km-long cycle route 471 runs through Zádveřice along the connection between Otrokovice, Zlín and Vizovice.
