Napajedla is home to the Napajedla Stud Farm, a uniquely authentic example of a distinctive agricultural architectural complex from the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, associated with organized horse breeding and without parallel in this region. The Napajedla Stud Farm is designated as a cultural monument. Napajedla Chateau is surrounded by a ten-hectare park, laid out mostly in the English style, with numerous rare woody plants and a romantic water-lily pond.

When looking for a holiday apartment in Napajedla, travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions can be viewed side by side in the respective offer details. At the same time, accommodation information remains separate from the town’s various facets: the stud farm, chateau park, museum, marked trails and Baťa Canal represent different themes of Napajedla.

Culture and History

Napajedla Chateau is a free-standing, U-shaped two-winged building in the style of late French Baroque, with a historic round Hall of Mirrors. The late Baroque Church of Saint Bartholomew in Napajedla was completed in 1712 and consecrated in 1741.

The Napajedla Museum is fully wheelchair accessible from the courtyard of the New Monastery and has accessible parking spaces and bicycle racks. The permanent exhibitions focus on the history of the town and on industrial companies that had a major influence on life in Napajedla. In the permanent exhibition “Hřiště hraček”, the museum displays toys by Libuše Niklová and Alfréd Klug; it was designed by the artist Petr Nikl.

Trails and Landscape

The Stezky Napajedelských emirátů are a 70-kilometre network of marked trails with beautiful views, connecting Napajedla with the surrounding municipalities. They are intended for pedestrians and mountain bikers. The Jablunkov–Velehrad route of the Cyrilometodějská Trail also passes through Napajedla.

Lesopark Kalvárie lies on a hill above the town and offers walks with beautiful views. The Lesoparkem Kalvárie educational trail features playful educational elements, animal sounds, information about nature and a forest playground with a climbing element. With different daily itineraries, the trail options can be considered separately rather than combined into a fixed schedule.
