Landscape

The mountains of Krkanka and Bučina are located in the surroundings of Zvěstovice. Krkanka is a mountain in the vicinity of Zvěstovice, as is Bučina. The immediate surroundings also include (Malá čtvrť) [Golčův Jeníkov-Sirákovice], a hill, as well as Na Hradci [Vilémov-Spytice], also a hill.

History and Culture

Zvěstovice was founded along the old regional route known as the Liběnická Trail. Historically, the village was owned by the Vilémovský Monastery.

Zvěstovice is home to a memorial to those who fell in the First World War. The Protestant cemetery with a chapel in Zvěstovice was built in 1862–1863 jointly by Reformed and Lutheran Christians.

In the wider regional surroundings of Zvěstovice lies Kačina Chateau, a castle. Svatý Jiří, a church, is also located in this wider regional area.
