Zbinohy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Zbinožský rybník pond is located in the cadastral area of Zbinohy and is legally classified as an important landscape feature. Twenty-four specially protected bird species and 32 bird species listed in the Red List of the Czech Republic have been recorded at this body of water.

Culture and History

The chapel on the village square in Zbinohy has an unusual circular floor plan and a polygonal tent roof with a lantern. It is a state-protected chapel dating from the 19th century and has been under state heritage protection since 1958.

The Baroque wayside shrine from 1760 in Zbinohy is freely accessible. The cross on the village square is a cast-iron cross on a high granite pedestal dating from 1867.

Northwest of Zbinohy, below the dam of the Zbinožský rybník pond, stand the buildings of the former Zbinožský mlýn mill and sawmill. The Zbinožský mlýn mill has been documented in church registers since the mid-18th century.

Hiking

On a hike of approximately 9–10 km from Kamenice to Větrný Jeníkov described on 11 June 2025, the route passed through Zbinohy. The route ran mostly along paths, and sturdy footwear was recommended.
