Vystrčenovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The marked Otokar Březina hiking trail passes through Vystrčenovice. Cycle route 5125 also runs through the village; it connects Telč with Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou and is 39 kilometres long. The local hiking and cycling routes are connected to a dense network of additional trails and routes, while tourism in Vystrčenovice is primarily geared towards cycling tourism.

Nature and Landscape

The Nová Říše nature monument, designated as a Natura 2000 site, is located within the municipality. Brázdův Pond is one of the bodies of water listed within the municipality of Vystrčenovice. The registered significant landscape feature Zadní díly u Bezkoutí is also located within the municipality.

Transport and Surroundings

Public transport in Vystrčenovice is provided by buses. The low volume of traffic allows for good cycling tourism in the surroundings of Vystrčenovice, including on Class II and Class III roads.

History and Small Monuments

Historically, Vystrčenovice was ecclesiastically and educationally affiliated with Nová Říše and has always belonged to its monastery. In 1696, Vystrčenovice was destroyed by fire.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross stands in a remote part of the municipality of Vystrčenovice. It was founded in 1708 by Leypold, provost of the Collegiate Chapter of Canons in Nová Říše. A hermitage existed at the chapel in 1728; it was extensively reconstructed in 2003 and 2004.

A wayside shrine is listed in Vystrčenovice as the only designated cultural monument; its ÚSKP registration number is 34186/7-5431. Approximately 100 metres east of Vystrčenovice, a brick Baroque wayside shrine dating from 1773 stands in a grove. The municipality erected the 1773 wayside shrine in memory of those who fell in the war. Other noteworthy small monuments in Vystrčenovice include a cast-iron cross with a stone pedestal.

The Brázdův Mill near Vystrčenovice was founded around 1700 by the Premonstratensian monastery in Nová Říše. After the mill ceased to be used for milling in the 1940s, it was later used as a sawmill. The Brázdův Mill is currently used for residential purposes and is not open to the public.
