Dolní Věžnice has preserved an architectural “German” style to this day, associated with the settlement of German colonists from Bavaria during silver ore mining in the Vysočina region.

The three-arched stone bridge in Věžnice is located at a branch of the Haberská stezka, a historic route that connected Central Bohemia with South Moravia, and spans the Šlapánka stream near the U Lutriána mill.

In the wider regional surroundings of Věžnice are the Roštejn [Doupě] Castle and the Church of Svatý Marek.

The mountains Kopeček and Řehořovský vrch are located in the immediate surroundings of Věžnice.

Routes

Věžnice can be reached on foot from Přibyslav via an 8 km-long green hiking trail. Cycle Route No. 415 passes through Věžnice and runs from Rušinov to Polná.
