Růžená: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Růžená dates back to the early 13th century. It has been rebuilt several times and contains Romanesque elements, and it is located within the cemetery grounds. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
Culture and remembrance
At the church in Růžená, the cross has a reconstructed stone base and a metal cross. Behind Růžená, the tall stone Trojanův kříž stands by the former road to Třeštice. The war memorial in Růžená was erected in 1995 to commemorate the victims of the First and Second World Wars.
Tradition and sport
A traditional pilgrimage is part of Růžená’s local event tradition. A traditional New Year’s Eve climb also leads from Růžená to Roštejn.
The Růžená multi-purpose sports field is open to the general public and is intended for football, foot tennis, volleyball, tennis, basketball, floorball and badminton.
