Milasín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Milasín can be explored via viewpoints, historic landmarks, and marked trails. Above the village stands a marble cross dating from 1920. From there, views extend across the entire Bystřicko region; they also reach across Novoměstsko as far as Křižanov.

Landscape and Views

On the road to Rožná, an intact iron cross dating from 1906 stands about 100 metres beyond the village. From this iron cross, there is a view of the nearby uranium mining complex.

On the way to Milasín, the “In the Footsteps of Uranium in the Bystřicko Region” route offers views of the Rožná I mine and the surrounding landscape.

Culture and History

A bell tower stands next to the fire station on the village square in Milasín. The bell tower was built in 1898. Milasín is first mentioned in 1348 in connection with the Bystřice nad Pernštejnem estate.

A local legend links the name Milasín to the lost son of a nobleman.

Trails

The marked cycle route 5130 runs from Dlouhé via Milasín to Nedvědice and crosses the municipality of Milasín from north to south.

The “In the Footsteps of Uranium in the Bystřicko Region” route follows a connecting road uphill towards Milasín.

Surroundings

From Milasín, trips to the Mitrov castle ruins are possible. From Milasín, trips can also continue into the Loučka Valley.
