Mikulovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The first written mention of Mikulovice dates back to 1348. Before Mikulovice was later incorporated into Sádek and subsequently Lesonice, it was an independent estate.

Landscape

Mikulovice is located in the Jaroměřická kotlina geomorphological subunit, within the Jevišovická pahorkatina geomorphological region and the Českomoravská vrchovina area. The most significant geomorphological landscape feature in the surrounding area is Mikulovická hora. The mountain is predominantly forested; only in the area of the quarry is there no continuous woodland. Mikulovická hora is bordered by a deforested hill with pastures, a meadow and an orchard on barren soil with exposed rock formations.

The Markovka stream, a tributary of the Jihlava, rises below Mikulovická hora. The Slavický potok rises in the southeast of the Mikulovice municipal area and flows into the Markovka.

Activities

Mikulovice has a children's playground with a slide, swings, a climbing wall and a sandbox. Swimming is possible in a fire pond. Three-player nohejbal tournaments are regularly held for all age groups.

Traditional pilgrimage celebrations are held in Mikulovice. The celebrations include entertainment and refreshments and take place on the hill near the multi-purpose sports field. A bicycle tour leads to Mikulovice, where visitors have the opportunity to visit the local outdoor swimming pool.

Mikulovice has a public library that is open every second Friday from 4 to 5 p.m.
