Lesůňky: Holiday Apartments and Houses

In Lesůňky, clearly visible earthwork remains of a former fortification have been preserved. The core of this former structure was almost square and measured approximately 20 × 19 metres. Its location is offered as a historic venue for wedding ceremonies.

History and Culture

The settlement of Lesůňky was probably established in the 16th century. It was founded on the site of a subdivided farm by people from Lesonice. A mill with a sawmill is documented in Lesůňky for the year 1846.

Lesůňky is home to the Chapel of Saint Francis of Assisi, which probably dates from 1885. The Church of Svatý Marek and the Church of Svatá Markéta are also located in the surroundings of Lesůňky. The ruins of Rabštejn lie in the wider regional area, while Myslibořice Castle Park is located in the vicinity of Lesůňky.

Nature and Trails

A path leads through the wetland, allowing visitors to observe the surroundings up close. A wooden observation tower offers an elevated view over the wetland. The small observation tower in Lesůňky also serves as a resting place for cyclists. The Jihlava–Třebíč–Raabs cycling route passes through Lesůňky.

The Tašky and Svatý Vít mountains are located in the immediate vicinity of Lesůňky. Mikulovická hora and Sadek mountains are located in the surroundings of Lesůňky.

Leisure Activities at the Cultural Complex

The cultural complex can accommodate up to 100 people indoors. Lesůňky has a large playground with climbing equipment. The multipurpose court with an artificial surface is used for tennis and Nohejbal.

In bad weather, children can use the renovated cultural centre for various sports activities, as well as for billiards, table tennis and darts. Films were shown three times during the holidays at the cultural complex in Lesůňky.
