History and Culture
The first written reference to Kostelní Myslová dates back to 1235. Náglův statek was a mill until 1909. At the same time, it is a unique Neoclassical building whose character resembles the architecture of a rural château.
Kostelní Myslová was the birthplace and a place of activity of the Jewish painter František Mořic Nágl. The educational trail “Pěšky krajem malíře F. M. Nágla” begins and ends in Kostelní Myslová in the Telčsko region. Its information boards introduce visitors to the work and life of the academic painter František Mořic Nágl.
Landscape
The Myslůvka stream flows through Kostelní Myslová. Above the village, on the road to Telč, lies the “Vyhlídka malíře F. Nágla” viewpoint. There are seats there, as well as a beautiful view over the countryside.
At the “U rybníka” trail point, there are stone sluice gates from a former pond. At the same trail point, there is also a stone bearing a hammer mark from 1888.
