History and Culture

Váňova studánka is a pilgrimage site in Bohdalín. The chapel at Váňova studánka contains an image of the Virgin Mary. The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Bohdalín has an interesting history.

The local history also reaches far back: Bohdalín was first mentioned in 1379; at that time, the place was called Bohdalovo pole. The former Bohdalínský mill, Fejfarův mlýn (Feifar Mill), burned down after being struck by lightning in 1921 and was not rebuilt.
