The area of Veselé is part of the CHKO České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. The CHKO Labské pískovce Protected Landscape Area borders Veselé to the northwest. The 2024 cycling route plan of the Ústecký kraj lists Veselé on the interregional CT 21 (Lužická) cycle route. One cycling tour follows the Soutěskou Olešničky route and then continues by bicycle on an ordinary road to the municipality of Veselé.

The historic site of Hirniskretzschen is located in the vicinity of Veselé. The wider regional surroundings of Veselé include Hrad Střekov Castle, Hohnstein Castle and the ruins of Starý Berštejn.
