At Noldenteich pond in the cadastral district of Kunratice u České Kamenice, Kunratice reveals its natural side: The body of water is designated as a natural monument and, in the Lusatian Mountains, is the richest site of the specially protected round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia).

Noldenteich is a pond with natural bank vegetation as well as marshland, sedge, alder and bog spruce stands.

Things to Do

A new tourist circular trail around Kunratice was opened in 2021. For the tourist circular trail, the municipality of Kunratice provides an interactive map with descriptions of the individual stops. Culture and History

The newly built Bauer Chapel is a religious landmark on a road above Kunratice. It stands at a site where a chapel had already stood since 1782.

The Zeckert Cross commemorates Christian Zeckert, the local judge of Studený, who died there in 1735 after falling from a horse. The restored cross can be viewed.

Traditional Events

In Kunratice, a traditional witch-burning event was announced for 30 April 2025 and 30 April 2026, respectively, at the municipal sports field.
