Hřivice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Directly above Hřivice lies Hradiště Na Šancích on the summit of Okrouhlík, at an elevation of 440 metres above sea level. The surviving remains include a rampart approximately three metres high and a ditch.
Nature
Hřivice lies on the edge of Džbán Nature Park. The Kozinecká stráň nature monument is the only state-protected natural area that extends into the cadastral territory of Hřivice. Its conservation objectives include fragments of a thermophilous oak forest with numerous important protected plant species, as well as a rich population of white dittany.
The Hasina stream flows through the Hřivice valley; it was formerly also known as Hřivický potok.
Paths and springs
Two marked hiking trails pass through Hřivice. The Bělka Spring lies on the slope below the junction of the green- and blue-marked hiking trails. It already served as a water source when the nearby Hradiště was inhabited.
The Hřivická Spring in Vinici can be reached from Hřivice via a green-marked hiking trail followed by a short turn-off. The U Petra a Pavla educational trail explains the functions of the forest. From spring to autumn, many cyclists pass through Hřivice.
