Zálesí: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Žleby Nature Monument is located in the cadastral area of Zálesí u Bítova. It encompasses a narrow valley of the Doubravka stream cut into the terrain, adjoining the flooded area of the Vyrazil pond. The nature monument protects wetland vegetation with tall sedges.

Nature

Zálesí lies amid forests and near the Vranovská Reservoir. In addition to the Žleby Nature Monument, the surrounding area therefore includes the forest landscape and the nearby body of water.

Culture and History

Zálesí was founded in 1779. The village has a wooden bell tower. The ruins of Schloßberg, the Heimatkreuz wayside shrine and the Lange Marter wayside shrine are also located in the vicinity of Zálesí. Karlslust Castle lies in the wider regional surroundings of Zálesí.

Leisure and Cycle Route

A sports field is available in Zálesí for leisure activities. The signposted Krumlovsko–Jevišovicko cycle route runs from Zálesí in the Znojmo District to Němčičky in the Brno-Country District.
