Culture and History
The Vlastivědné muzeum has a permanent exhibition on the history of Velké Bílovice, notable personalities born here, and the development of traditional and artistic crafts in Velké Bílovice. Visiting the permanent exhibition takes approximately 30 minutes; the exhibition is also suitable for families with children.
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is a Baroque church built between 1765 and 1767. It was built on the Renaissance foundations of a Brethren church dating from 1564. Among the private houses on today's Záhumní Street, a large Habán cellar has also been preserved and is still in use.
Krojované hody is the largest folk festival in Velké Bílovice. More than 50 pairs in traditional costumes take part in its procession every year.
Wine and Cellar Areas
The Svatomartinská slavnost festival presents the young Svatomartinské wines made by winemakers from Velké Bílovice. Several cellars are also open in the Púrynky cellar area.
Ze sklepa do sklepa is a recurring wine tasting event at which wine can be tasted in more than 50 cellars in Velké Bílovice. The Velké Bílovice wine trail is 5 km long and includes a cellar area with 650 cellars.
Landscape and Views
Kaplička na Hradišťku stands on a hill amid vineyards near Velké Bílovice and has the form of a Romanesque rotunda. In good weather, visitors can see as far as the White Carpathians, Strážnice, and the Pálava Hills.
Trails and Sports
The Vinařský maraton runs through vineyards, predominantly along cycle paths between Velké Bílovice, Čejkovice, and Vrbice. The Mezi vinicemi educational trail has 10 rest stops.
The multifunctional sports complex has sports courts that can be reserved and an ice rink.
The Turistické informační centrum provides information about sights, tourist destinations, sports opportunities, and cycle paths in Velké Bílovice and the surrounding area. It also provides information about transport connections from Velké Bílovice to the surrounding towns and municipalities.
