Around St. Catherine’s Day, the Slovácké hody festival with věncem and káčery takes place in Těmice every year. Těmice lies in a valley at an elevation of about 250 m above sea level, surrounded by the hills of Domanínský kopec (312 m) and Zadní díly (310 m); the Syrovínka stream flows through the village.

Culture and tradition

Every year, the local horticultural association organises a traditional wine tasting in Těmice. The old mill is one of the village’s historically valuable buildings. A protected žudro dating from the mid-19th century can be found at the folk farmhouse No. 48.

Cycling

The 26 km-long Bzenecká vinařská stezka runs from Ježov to Těmice and is suitable for cyclists of all categories. The hilly sections of the Kyjovská pahorkatina in the first half of the route are more challenging. Most of the Bzenecká vinařská stezka can be used year-round; the only more challenging section is the sandy passage between Bzenec and Hrubý háj near Moravský Písek. The route runs 80% along quiet Class III roads and 20% along paved and unpaved off-road sections.

Leisure

The Koupaliště outdoor swimming pool in Těmice has a large pool and a small pool, a snack bar and a table tennis facility. It was prepared and open for the 2026 swimming season.

Transport

Těmice has no railway connection. Regular bus services connect the village with its surroundings.
