Vřesovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Vřesovice combines places of remembrance with paths through the countryside. On the first floor of the Vřesovice Municipal Office building is the Oldřich Pechal and Svatopluk Štulíř Memorial. The Po hranici educational trail comprises seven stops and three information boards and leads through the forests of the Chřiby Mountains.

Trails and Events

The Zimní přírodou hiking event was held in Vřesovice for the 22nd time in 2026 and was organised by the Vřesovice branch of the KČT. In this edition, marked routes covered 5, 8 and 12 kilometres; registration and the finish were located at the Vřesovice Community Centre.

Several trails focus on different themes. The Bobří stezka is a 2.8-kilometre children's trail with questions, stations and information about nature. The Magická stezka is 9.8 kilometres long and leads to stations that recall the mysteries and stories of this ancient landscape. The Oldřich Pechal Trail is a 4-kilometre route with ten stations and tasks, as well as photos and audio recordings accessible via QR codes.
