Pernštejnské Jestřabí lies on the southwestern edge of the Svratecká hornatina Nature Park and on the right bank of the Svratka. Mount Víckov is located nearby; the mountains Sýkoř, Babylon and Střela are also in the surrounding area.

Culture
Jilmoví is one of the settlements of Pernštejnské Jestřabí and has a chapel. The “kaple svaté Anny” chapel is the landmark of Jilmoví; it was built in 1830.
The “Kaple Panny Marie Růžencové” chapel stands in the centre of Pernštejnské Jestřabí. It has a copper roof and is a protected cultural monument. The “Kaple Panny Marie Bolestné” chapel is located in Maňová, a district of Pernštejnské Jestřabí.
Tradition
A pilgrimage is held on Bozinka on the Sunday closest to 22 July.
