Kravsko Castle is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The castle is a two-storey Neoclassical building. In front of its courtyard stands a Rococo statue of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga dating from 1847.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Help is a simple building with a rectangular floor plan, a semicircular apse and a projecting prismatic bell tower. The original residence in Kravsko can be dated approximately to around 1740 and was intended for an abbot.

History

The Kocanda complex combines artistic and technical cultural heritage. The Kocanda ceramics factory was founded in 1823. Between 2017 and 2020, the former ceramics factory was converted into a guesthouse and a venue for social events. Wine tastings are offered directly on site at Kocanda.

The former manorial brewery below the castle hill was founded in 1579 by Šebestián Freytag z Čepiroh. Beer was brewed there until 1899. Some of the cellars have been restored, while another part has been preserved in its original form.

Nature

The castle park in Kravsko is open to the public and includes a pond. The Stezka Zámeckým parkem KRAVSKO was established as an approximately 2.1-kilometre-long nature-focused educational trail with nine stations and classified as easy; in the long term, it is not maintained.

Trails

The Mlynářská Trail passes through Kravsko. It connects the Vysočina Region with South Moravia and Lower Austria.
