The defining landmark of Hodějice is the Chapel of Saint Bartholomew. It was built in 1884. The village’s traditional recurring festivals include the Bartolomějské hody, which are documented for 2022 and 2023. They take place at the sports field behind the Sokolovna of TJ Sokol Hodějice.

Water and the Villagescape

Hodějice was established on the left bank of the Litava River. The Heršpický potok stream also flows through the village.

Cycling and Trails

The 2.5-kilometre cycle path between Slavkov u Brna and Hodějice is suitable for cycling and inline skating. Along the path, there are four rest areas with benches and two bicycle parking facilities for a total of 22 bicycles. The marked cycle route 507 continues from Němčany to Hodějice.

The project for the cycle path between Slavkov u Brna and Hodějice leads directly to a public transport stop served by lines of the integrated transport system, as well as to the industrial zone in Hodějice.

Leisure

Events are held outdoors at the Hodějice swimming pool. The swimming pool was ceremonially reopened on 27 June 2003 after extensive reconstruction.
