Zahorčice lies in a wooded valley below Mladotický vrch; there are several ponds in the surrounding area. Another pond, together with the chapel, forms the village square and gives the place a distinctive focal point.

The area around Zahorčice is used for agriculture and is characterised by fields, scattered woodland, and linear vegetation along small watercourses.
