Roseč lies on the border of the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area. The village is a suitable starting point for hikes and cycling tours. Kubátův vršek, a hill, is located in the immediate vicinity of Roseč.

Culture

The Church of Saint Simon and Jude in Roseč was built in 1551 in the Renaissance style. The single-nave building has a tower, a rectangular chancel and a two-storey sacristy. A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk dating from 1722 stands in Roseč village square; it is considered a relatively rare work by a folk artist in the region. Farní stodola was built at the beginning of the 19th century as an agricultural building for the local parish church.

Experiences

The Muzeum Fosílií Roseč was established in 2008 and presents the development of the Earth through a unique collection of fossil plant and animal finds. The collection includes plant and animal finds from across Europe and traces the development of the Earth since the Cambrian period.

Léto v kukuřici offers a corn maze, a large straw castle, trampolines, beach volleyball, football, a seven-metre-deep swimming pool with a sandy beach, as well as other family activities.
