Metly: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Metly is characterized by specific bodies of water, paths, and regional landmarks. A 1,200-meter-long asphalt path runs along the eastern shore of Metelský rybník. When fully filled, Metelský rybník has an area of 51 hectares.

A cycling route leads from Metly via Březí northwards to Hvožďany. Culture and History

Metly is home to the wayside shrine “Boží muka v Metlech u Metelského potoka”. The “Metelský, Sudů, Pečených mlýn” mill in Metly is documented with certainty from 1542 onward. The 2002 flood disaster associated with Metly destroyed thirteen houses.

The Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast, a ruin, is located in the wider regional surroundings of Metly. The historic site “Lety u Písku. Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách” is also located in these wider regional surroundings.
