Měkynec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

At the northern edge of Měkynec, at the Záluží–Bílsko crossroads, stands the wayside chapel of the Holy Family. The chapel has a transversely rectangular floor plan and a single-pitched roof covered with tiles. On its southern façade are two superimposed niches with segmental-arched tops: the lower niche contains an image of the Holy Family, while the upper one contains an image of Saint John of Nepomuk.

Culture

The Chapel of Saint Procopius stands in the village square of Měkynec. It dates from 1854, was built on the model of the church in Lomec, and has a circular floor plan.

A traditional pilgrimage in honour of Saint Adalbert is documented for Měkynec.
