Lippen: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lippen combines the history of a settlement altered by water with its location on the Lipno Reservoir. The original settlement was flooded during the construction of the Lipno Dam and replaced by a new holiday resort. Lipno nad Vltavou is located on the left bank of the Lipno Reservoir near its dam.

Nature and Water

The shore of the Lipno Reservoir near Lipno nad Vltavou offers opportunities for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and sport fishing. Lipno nad Vltavou is surrounded by the landscape of the Bohemian Forest. The Lipno nad Vltavou boat harbour is located behind a projection of the shore in the direction from the beach side towards the dam. Cycling and Activity

Bikepark Lipno has a 1.8-kilometre blue trail and a more difficult 1.2-kilometre red trail with 180 metres of elevation gain. Bikepark Lipno is suitable for children aged 8 and over, as well as for beginners and advanced riders.

Singletrack Lipno is a 5-kilometre cycling trail running through the forest, designed especially for families and children. It runs mainly downhill over terrain undulations and steep bends; the return uphill is by cable car. In addition, the 21-kilometre Jezerní inline skating trail runs along the shore of Lake Lipno.

Further Activities

Fox Park is a 120-metre-long practice area at the valley station of the Lipno Express cable car, with three conveyor belts and themed slaloms.

The Kingdom of the Forest includes cableways, rope structures, tree towns, climbing frames, swings, castles and fortifications, carousels, sandpits and slides. The certified play elements and structures combine entertainment with discovering the diverse nature of the Bohemian Forest.

Aquaworld Lipno offers an opportunity to relax in any weather. Facilities include a swimming pool, a children's water slide and a counter-current pool.

Culture

The Janusovská Lampa is a 365-centimetre-high sculpture by Milan Doubrava and a landmark of Lipno nad Vltavou.
