Jestrebice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the central part of Jestřebice, there is a small park and the Chapel of the Holy Trinity. It is protected as a cultural monument under registration number 25189/3-2538. Its structure consists of a large hexagonal nave and a smaller rectangular, three-sided apse.

History

In the 13th century, Jestřebice belonged to the property of the Archbishop of Prague in Týn. After the Battle of White Mountain, the village belonged to the estate of the Premonstratensian order in Milevsko. Jestřebice is first mentioned in 1379.

In the mid-18th century, there were 13 larger farmsteads in Jestřebice. They cultivated 158 hectares of arable land.

Surroundings

Kupa u Jestřebic lies at an altitude of 503 metres above sea level. The Rozhledna Na Kupě observation tower near Jestřebice can be reached by car.

Southeast of Jestřebice, there are larger sports and recreational areas on the edge of a body of water. The body of water is used by local residents for various social events.

Cycling

A local cycle route runs through Jestřebice. To the west, it connects to regional KČT cycle route No. 31 to Veselíčko. In addition, the cycling circuit through the Milevsko region runs along paved roads and surfaced forest paths; it is suitable for trekking bikes and mountain bikes.
