Dinin: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Dynín is characterized by a distinctive historic villagescape. On November 19, 1990, the village was designated as a place with a protected heritage zone. The ensemble of 19th-century granaries generally features simple façades, triangular gables, and sawtooth ornamentation. The farmsteads are arranged around a large, almost rectangular village square.
Culture and History
A series of brick vernacular buildings dating from around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries has been preserved in Dynín. The protected buildings include Farmstead No. 25, a registered immovable cultural monument comprising a residential section, granary, gate and wicket gate, stables, and barn. The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas is one of the most important sights in the municipality of Dynín.
The more recent history of the village can also be read in a specific building: construction of the school in Dynín began in April 1923, and classes started there as early as October of the same year. The former village of Německá Lhota was flooded during the expansion of the Záblatský Pond between 1580 and 1582, together with its farmsteads.
Landscape and Bodies of Water
The eastern part of the municipality of Dynín lies within the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area. In the surrounding area, Hliníř, located in the cadastral territories of Bošilec and Lhota u Dynína, is designated as a natural monument. Hliníř protects a valuable transitional bog ecosystem with protected and endangered plant and animal species.
The small Hliníř wetland area contains several shallow pools and is connected to a pond. Hliníř also includes aquatic habitats with riparian vegetation and scattered trees. Dolní dynínský Pond forms part of the Záblatská pond system.
Cycling
Cycle Route 1134 passes through Dynín. A cycle route via Dynín runs through a landscape characterized by ponds, bodies of water, and marshes.
