History is evident in Meclov through tangible architectural and archaeological remains. The synagogue in Meclov was built in 1849 and had a square main room. Stucco decorations and traces of a former niche for the Aron ha-Kodesh are visible on the eastern interior wall; doors were later installed there. The synagogue was subsequently structurally converted into a fire station.
