Culture and History
On the castle hill of Krasíkov, the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene is the most distinctive landmark. Krasíkov–Švamberk Castle was founded around 1250.
Bavůrkův kříž is a stone reconciliation cross featuring a relief of two concentric circles. The site of the cross is connected with the tradition that Bavůrek of Švamberk allegedly killed the son of the Pilsen citizen Paleček there. Čihadlo Hill in Kokašice is classified as a significant archaeological site in category ÚAN I.
The traditional Apple Festival takes place in Krasíkov on the first Saturday in October. At Dvůr Krasíkov, families can spend an interesting afternoon with domestic animals and horses.
