Kaničky is part of the Chudenicko Landscape Heritage Zone, which has been protected since July 1, 1996.

Culture

At homestead No. 1 in Kaničky stands a remarkable wooden granary on a high stone base covering a vaulted cellar. This wooden granary probably dates from the first half of the 19th century.

In the area of the village green in Kaničky stands a small brick Chapel of the Virgin Mary with a flat-roofed interior and a three-sided apse. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary was built in 1862; its exterior was reconstructed in two stages after 2000.

Landscape

The boundary of the Chudenicko Zone runs around Kaničky along the eastern edge of the municipality and then returns to its starting point. The boundary of the Chudenicko Landscape and Heritage Protection Zone begins north of the municipality of Kaničky on the Chocomyšl–Kaničky–Zichov road.

History

Northeast of Kaničky, visitors can see the Baroque Kaničský Mill. A Baroque chapel stands in front of the Kaničský Mill. The stone Kaničský Mill was built at its present location in 1757. The current building of the Kaničský Mill, with its decorated gable, was built in 1852; the year is displayed on the entrance portal.
