Dobršín: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Dobršín preserves a village square layout of medieval origin. The vernacular architecture includes single-storey timber and masonry buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, with broad gables typical of the Pošumaví region.

Culture and village character

Since 25 July 1995, Dobršín has been protected as a village heritage reservation. The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity contains a Neo-Gothic altar, a sculptural group depicting the Holy Trinity, and a collection of folk sculptures. A memorial cross dated 1871 stands beside its entrance.

Dobršín Farmstead No. 17 is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments and is partly built using the log construction method; it also features a so-called “kožich”. The Dobršínský mlýn is a well-preserved mill without any significant later alterations that would diminish its value. In the wider regional surroundings of Dobršín, the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast is considered a ruin.

Nature and landscape

The Čepičná Nature Reserve extends across the cadastral areas of Budětice, Dobršín and Čepice. On limestone bedrock, particularly at crystalline limestone outcrops, it protects rare calcicole and thermophilous plant species. Limestone cliffs are a defining landscape feature of the Čepičná Nature Reserve.

The mountains of Svatobor, Vysoký, Sedlo [Sušice-Albrechtice] and Vosík [Hartmanice-Javoříc] are located in the surroundings of Dobršín.

Cycling route

The cycling route from Sušice to Rabí Castle leads from Sušice towards Dobršín and continues from Dobršín to Budětice. It is described as suitable for trekking bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes and electric bicycles.
