Culture and History

The Church of the Holy Trinity is a single-nave building with a tower and a polygonal presbytery. The late Baroque church in Zavlekov dates from 1773 and stands at the center of a 500-year-old cemetery. In front of the church is a rare late Gothic stone baptismal font.

The granary in Zavlekov is classified as a technical monument. Originally, it was a late Gothic fortified residence from the mid-16th century; in the 18th century, the fortified residence was converted into a granary.

The wayside shrine in Zavlekov, dating from 1821, is an example of small-scale folk architecture. The monument by the road in Zavlekov is a remarkable example of small-format folk monument art from the last third of the 19th century.

Landscape and Trails

At the northern edge of Zavlekov stand four memorial linden trees approximately 250 years old, surrounding a wayside shrine.

Cycle Route 2082 Plánice–Kolinec passes through Zavlekov. The surrounding area includes Buzrakov Mountain (Plánický hřeben) and Svatobor Mountain. In the wider regional area are Úliště Mountain [Javor - Loučany] and Vosík Mountain [Hartmanice-Javoříc].
