Vrážné: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Vrážné is located in the Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park. The Vráženský potok stream flows through the village, and the pond behind Vrážné offers locals and visitors opportunities for relaxation.

Nature

The Horka hill near Biskupice u Jevíčka and the Ousov hill near Hartinkov are located in the vicinity of Vrážné. The Husák and Roh mountains are also situated around Vrážné.

History and Culture

Southwest of Vrážné, higher up, lies Hradisko, an archaeological site at an elevation of 474 metres. An oval rampart with an elliptical ground plan measuring approximately 42 × 25 metres has been preserved at Hradisko. The medieval Hradisko complex is associated with the protection of the margrave’s property.

Vrážné is home to the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius. Construction began in 1890, and the consecration took place in 1891. The chapels Kaple Panny Marie Lurdské, Kaple Panny Marie and Kaple Božského srdce are also located around Vrážné. The memorial Pomník obětem 1. a 2. světové války is located in the wider surrounding region of Vrážné. Vrážné is also home to a dressed stone block bearing a carved inscription.

Events

On 5 September 2026, the public event “Strašidelný les a nohejbal” will take place in Vrážné. It includes a nohejbal tournament, a haunted trail and refreshments. The Cyrilometodějská pouť is also listed as an event in Vrážné.
